The Cut is a scorekeeping tool

The Cut helps organizers run golf events — scoring, leaderboards, teams, side games, and points. It is provided for entertainment and record-keeping.

We never handle money

The Cut does not hold, process, transfer, or facilitate the transfer of any money, wagers, or winnings. Side games and Calcutta features track points and results only. Any dollar figures shown are a convenience for your own record-keeping. All settlement between participants happens directly between those people, outside of The Cut.

You are responsible for following your local laws

Laws about wagering, pools, and contests vary by state and country. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any activity you organize or take part in using The Cut is legal where you are. The Cut is not a gambling operator and does not offer gambling services.

No warranty

The Cut is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Scores, handicaps, and results are only as accurate as the information entered. The Cut is not liable for any losses or disputes arising from use of the app.

Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are billed annually and can be managed or cancelled at any time from the Billing page (or through Apple, for App Store purchases). Players joining an event are always free.
